**Pasta Making Adventure – Full Day Children's Class**

We love getting the pasta machines out, and it's even more fun when we add a splash of colour (although you can keep your pasta traditional if you prefer!).

In this full-day class, we'll get creative making fresh **tagliatelle and linguine** from scratch. Lunch will be our homemade pasta served with a simple sauce of your choice, and if time allows, we might even make some pizza too!

After lunch, it's time to make the perfect partner for your pasta – **meatballs**! We'll have our favourite recipe using a mixture of beef and pork mince in a rich tomato sauce, but we know lots of our young chefs love to experiment. You're welcome to spice things up, try a different sauce, or choose our turkey or vegetarian meatball recipe instead. Fancy hiding a cube of cheese inside your meatballs or adding a little chilli for a surprise? Go for it – we love seeing everyone's creativity!

If we have time, we'll also get the ravioli trays out to make some delicious filled pasta (meatballs in pasta??) and we have some great ideas for rainbow pasta shapes, or perhaps whip up a quick and comforting mac 'n' cheese.

This is a wonderfully hands-on class with plenty of opportunities to learn new skills, experiment with flavours, and most importantly, have fun!

All ingredients, equipment, and takeaway containers are provided.

Children are welcome to attend independently, or parents and carers can stay to watch or join in the fun. If your child has additional needs, is new to cooking, or would simply feel more comfortable with some support, we encourage parents, carers, or older siblings to work alongside them if needed.

I liked the teacher she showed us how to make pies, jam,  cream to butter and buttermilk, scones and  pastries. The teacher told us that we don't need to throw berries going out of date, but to freeze them. It's so great fun and friendly too.

**Children's School Holiday Chocolate & Cake Making Workshop (2 Days)**

Looking for a fun and creative way enjoy the school holidays? This exciting two-day workshop is packed with chocolatey fun and hands-on baking, giving our young chefs the chance to learn new skills, build on the skills they already have and take home some delicious creations.

**Day 1 – Chocolate Making**  
Young chocolatiers will learn how to:

- Make chocolate shells.
- Create delicious chocolate fillings.
- Fill their chocolates, ready to seal on Day 2.
- Roll their own scrumptious handmade chocolate truffles.

**Day 2 – Bake, Decorate & Finish**  
Children will bake their choice of a vanilla or chocolate cake. While their cake cools, they'll:

- Fill and seal their handmade chocolates.
- Create fun decorative chocolate ‘run out’ designs.
- Decorate their cake with their handmade chocolates to create a spectacular showpiece.
- Box up any extra chocolates to take home and share (if they can resist eating them first!).

At the end of the two days, each child will head home with a beautifully decorated cake, a box of handmade chocolates and truffles, lots of new baking skills, and plenty of sweet memories from a fun-filled workshop.

As with all our classes, lunch will be provided.

Two day chocolate making class - filled chocolates, truffles and a chocolate decorated chocolate cake.

A full day course for all prospective and current students. Enjoy learning how to feed yourself healthy, low cost meals. Whatever your cookery skills, we will have you making a variety of exciting dishes.

In this full day class you will learn how to cook a range of dishes, mainly healthy but with a few treats along the way. We cover basic food safety and give you confidence when buying, preparing and storing ingredients.  We also have a few handy tips about sharing a student kitchen.

To start the day we will make a couple of breakfast dishes, which can be eaten for a mid-morning snack.  During the day you will make main meals for a full week (yes, 7 dishes) and a few healthy ideas for simple packed lunches.  You will leave with recipes, lots of food (most can be frozen and used throughout the term) and a shopping list (which is perfect is someone wants to treat you to an on line delivery). 

You will also receive a 'goody bag' providing a few essentials to get you going.

This class is suitable for absolute beginners but will also help more confident cooks develop their range of skills.  All dishes can be adapted for specific dietary requirements, subject to prior notice.

A full day course to give you the skills to survive in your own kitchen

These fun, informative sessions for those educated at home are suitable for children of all abilities from 9 to 16years. We focus on the child, with an emphasis on working in a relaxed environment, building cookery skills and encouraging conversations about food and healthy eating.  Classes run every other week.  Book a 'one off' session or join us for a block of 6 sessions, for a full course to develop and hone those essential cooking skills. 
Older children, and those who have already completed 2 terms of cooking with us have the opportunity to complete a BTEC Level 2 qualification.  Those completing the full course will have 2 full assessment days to complete the required controlled assessments.  
It is expected that those following the BTEC course complete some planning and evaluation work.  We will work with students to find the best way for them to record and use this.

We had a brilliant time making our yummy Biryani’s. 

2 hours of cooking fun for children of all abilities from age 5-14. 

In session 1, we will make gingerbread dough, roll, cut and bake it to make the individual parts of the house.  We will also make some trees and gingerbread people.  If time allows, you will have a practice icing designs, ready for the second session.
Session 2 is where the building begins.  First we will mix your icing to decorate each piece, then make your 'glue' and this is where the fun really starts.  Once your house is constructed there is always an element of competition to produce the 'show stopper'.  
Our gingerbread houses are made with real butte and, aswell as looking great, they will taste great!

The cost for the two classes is £60.  These sessions are 'family friendly' and up to 3 people can work on one house (or you can make one each). to 2 additional people can work with you (on the same house) for an additional cost.  Please remember to book additional workers.

Join us to make, bake and assemble your own family gingerbread house.  Two fun and challenging workshops to create your own masterpiece. 

**Build Your Own Burger meal – Full Day Children's Class**

Calling all creative chefs! If you love experimenting with flavours and creating your own recipes, this is the class for you.

We'll begin the day by making our own soft burger buns from scratch. While the dough is proving, we'll use a little of it to bake delicious cinnamon rolls – the perfect mid-morning treat!

Next, we'll explore a range of classic burger recipes, including **beef, chicken, fish and bean burgers**, before designing and making our own perfect burger for lunch. Want to stick to a classic cheeseburger, create a towering burger with all your favourite toppings, or invent something completely different? Go for it! We'll also make a selection of oven-baked and air-fried chips (creative seasonings optional!).

After lunch, it's time to get even more creative. You'll choose from a selection of delicious sides to make, including **mac 'n' cheese bites, chilli cheese bites, beans, onion rings, hash browns**, and more. Mix, match and customise your menu to create your very own burger box meal.

Throughout our  sessions, we'll be exploring clever ways to recreate takeaway favourites with fresh ingredients and healthier cooking methods (although we won't spoil the surprise until everyone's enjoyed the food!).

Children will head home with homemade burger buns, a selection of delicious sides, and a couple of their own handmade burgers to enjoy later.

As with all our school holiday classes, **all ingredients, snacks and drinks are provided**, and lunch is freshly prepared during the session.

**Children's School Holiday Afternoon Tea Baking Workshop**

Spend a fun-filled day baking a delicious afternoon tea from scratch! Perfect for young bakers, this hands-on school holiday workshop is packed with savoury and sweet treats, helping children build confidence in the kitchen while learning a variety of baking techniques.

During the workshop, children will make:

- Freshly baked savoury and sweet scones.
- Mini quiches.
- Homemade sausage rolls.
- Tasty cheese whirls.
- A selection of delicious cakes and sweet treats.

Along the way, they'll learn essential baking skills, including mixing, rolling, shaping, baking and decorating, before carefully packaging up their creations to take home.

By the end of the day, each child will leave with a beautiful afternoon tea selection to share with family and friends, along with plenty of new baking skills and happy memories from a fun and creative school holiday experience.
