Those who qualify should have received a HAF code and enter this when booking.

In each session children will make a variety of dishes from the chosen theme. These will include a mid morning snack, lunch and dishes to take home and share.

FAQ's
Can children be left for the day?
Yes, children 8 years and above can be left. you will be asked for 2 emergency contact numbers prior to the class.
My child has a special diet. Can you cater for this?
We do our best to cater for any food allergies or special diets. Please let us know at the time of booking and feel free to phone or email us to discuss this.
My child receives free school meals but we do not receive benefits, can we attend.
HAF spaces are funded by Oldham Council who will check data for children using the free places. Children must be in receipt of means tested free school meals.
My child has an EHCP, can they attend the session?
We are able to allocate a small percentage of places to children with EHCPs. These are limited, so please check with us before booking. We try to work with children of all abilities and be flexible to accommodate their needs. We do find that many enjoy working in our unique environment.
y child has friends attending who are paying for the class, can they work together?.
Other than the information we need to gather for Oldham Council, there is no difference between funded and paid spaces. All children will have the same experience and friendship groups are encouraged to work together if they want to.
My child might not know anyone on the class and can be a little shy.
Where space allows, children can work at their own bench or we will group children of similar ages together. We also have staff who are available to work with anyone new to our cookery school to help them settle in and enjoy their day.
We do not live in Oldham, can we still use the spaces?
HAF funded spaces are funded by Oldham Council and, as such, are only available for children who either live in Oldham or attend school in Oldham. Paid spaces can be booked via our website. We appreciate that the cost of these may be an issue for some. If this is the case, please contact us as we can, sometimes, offer last minute spaces at a reduced price.
