Did you watch 'The Apprentice Final'? I'm sure our young people can be equally creative designing some unique pizza flavours. Curry pizza looked like a great hit, and we can definitely have fun working with those flavours but, if curry isn't your style, you can inspire us.

What would happen if KFC did pizza? Could you use pizza base as a a tapas bowl? How about a 'Double decker pizza'? I can't see how you could get Ramen into (or onto) a pizza but I guess some of our young people will have creative ideas for that…

Things to remember

Please wear covered, flat footwear for your safety and comfort.

Our cookery school is in a large mill and can be cold inside. We recommend wearing a few layers of clothing (particularly in winter).

Do parents stay for the class?

Most children attend without an adult but we area happy for an adult to stay if you would like. Some children prefer to work with an adult, which we are happy to accommodate and try to be flexible, depending on each individual child's needs. Adults staying are more than welcome to eat lunch with the group or can order sandwiches or pies from our little bakery. We also have an area where you can work, if your child doesn't need you to cook with them. If you wish to discuss staying with your child, please give us a call.

Do they need to bring anything with them?

We try to provide everything needed, to make the day easy for you. In many classes lunch is made as part of the day or we offer sandwiches and/or jacket potatoes or a bit of pizza making. Where children have a special diet, or are worried that they might not enjoy the lunch, you are more than welcome to provide a packed lunch (please ask us to pop it into the fridge on arrival). We also have water and flavoured water available throughout the session and can provide hot drinks. We provide aprons, all ingredients and take away containers needed for all dishes made. You just need to supply the child(ren) and drop off/collect.

My children 14 +12 really enjoyed the pizza + pasta course, everyone was friendly and supportive and they loved having pizza for lunch + dinner. Would be interested in attending more courses as well as adult classes.
